Lightning Reopen V3 is a Chrome extension that allows Chromium-based browsers to be effortlessly reopened in the background, enabling quick restarts and reopens. This extension, a Manifest-V3-compatible fork of LightningReopen, also provides browser notification functionality without requiring an active window to be open.
Unlike its predecessor, Lightning Reopen, which is archived and set for removal in June 2024 due to using the deprecated Manifest V2 format, Lightning Reopen V3 is designed with the new Manifest V3 standard. It ensures continuous updates to meet evolving needs, all while maintaining a commitment to user privacy by not accessing browsing data, tracking, or analytics.
